SEEDS Project
The project will improve the accessibility and availability of services, information, and opportunities for vulnerable populations by increasing collaboration between district level service providers.
The seven participating villages are located in the Toledo and Stann Creek districts and are:
The project will develop four community hubs as an open space for young people to meet, learn, teach and inspire development within themselves. The hubs will serve as resource and services centers available to youth and community members by mobilizing the government to extend their services to these areas.
In the hubs and participating communities, the Department of Youth Services (DYS) will provide:
Project participants will enhance access to information, referrals, and/or support related to sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender-based violence, human rights, health, sanitation, COVID-19, community development, and more.
During project implementation, HPPBZ will seek to collaborate with representatives from:
